I have a brand new obsession and it’s the Antipasto Bar at Whole Foods! I usually don’t stray into that part of the store since it’s nestled in the cheese department but I did the other day. I circled the bar once, then a second time, then I picked up a fill your own container and pretty much went wild. Not too wild since it can get pricy. I filled my container with marinated artichoke hearts, marinated tomatoes, kalamata olives and lemon garlic olives. Surrounding the olive bar were packages of Z Crackers. We used to eat them all the time. I have no idea why we stopped buying them but it’s been years. I picked up a box of their Sea Salt and Olive oil crackers.
When I got home and unpacked all the groceries, I made myself a small plate of the Antipasto Bar goodies w. Z Crackers. It was the perfect light lunch. Everything was delicious. It was filling without leaving me feel too full to do anything else afterwards. I ate this light lunch for 3 days in a row. Last night I finished the little bit that was left as a snack. Today I’m itching to go back to Whole Foods to pick up some more. I’m having withdrawal symptoms!
