Thai Vegetable Gyoza

Thai Vegetable Gyoza

Every couple of months or less I travel to a Trader Joes and go crazy in the frozen food section. I’m generally not someone who likes frozen foods. I’ll buy anything that say’s it’s vegan and most vegan frozen meals I end up throwing away after the first bite. TJ’s is the exception. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything from their frozen section that I haven’t liked.

One of my favorites are their Thai Vegetable Gyoza. We like to eat them with chopsticks and dipped into some low sodium tamari.  My freezer is usually stocked with at least 4 bags of these delectable dumplings. They are just perfect. So easy to cook and so delicious that I can easily eat a bag of them myself for a meal. Like I did last Friday…like my husband did that same Friday when he came home early from work famished. Thank goodness I had 2 bags!

Our freezer is now without these wonderful eats and TJ’s were sold out of them the last trip I made there. I’ll be heading back very soon to get my hands on some more for my next Thai Vegetable Gyoza fix!

I’m such a sucker for the TJ’s veggie gyoza, definitely miss having the store around to get them at every now and then!

I know what you mean because I have to travel 1 hour to get to a Trader Joe’s in my area.

These dont list any animal ingredients in their ingredient list, but the bag shows that there is a small amount of cholesterol in them. So…are they really vegan?

Thanks for pointing that out Jamie! I just checked the bag of gyoza’s that I have in my freezer and you are right about the cholesterol. There aren’t any animal ingredients listed so I’m not sure where it is coming from. All of my searches online list them as being vegan. Maybe an email to Trader Joe’s could answer it for you?

      Thanks for commenting.
